Watch Dogs 2 is the confirmed sequel to the hit game Watch Dogs. Tony Key, senior vice president of Ubisoft, said at E32014 that the commercial success of Watch Dogs showed that the brand has staying power. In 2015, a Ubisoft developer accidentally revealed that Watch Dogs 2 was in development, further suggesting that the game is in the works.^[1] The game takes place in San Francisco. Ubisoft has introduced a new character Marcus Holloway.The player has the hacking ability from the earlier game Watch_Dogs except for the fact that it has been redeveloped,when the player will activate his profiler system instead of showing a square(4 lines drawn from its edges) the screen will go black and show the players body border along with the object he is carrying(that is his bag,it does not mean the it will also show the objects inside the bag) and surrounding environment .i.e. civillians,cars or any hackable object such as phones, computer controlled forklifts,CCTV cameras Cars due to the CtOs 2.0 etc.In addition the player is part of Dedsec and the game introduces Coop system in which the player can complete side missions or main missions.New vehicles are introduced are scooters and ATVs.The player has a drone which he can deploy anytime through which he can hack objects mentioned above.The pakour has a little change where the player can climb faster objects since he is a little thin and an expert stuntsman.

When Marcus Holloway,a computer engineer is accused of a crime against Blume for hacking which he did not do(this is possible since it is being mentioned in other areas) he is recruited by DedSec who explains about the unknown crimes that Blume has done with their CtOs system with people in Chicago.The story follows after the events of the first game Watch_Dogs where Blume will introduce CtOs 2.0 angers the leader of DedSec and hence declares war on the Blume corporation in San Francisco.The player's mission is to reveal the plan of Blume Corporation with CtOs 2.0.DedSec members inspired with the works of T-Bone and Aiden Pearce are determined to take the fight to the enemy.
